Our virtual landscape design services are offered online, allowing you to connect with a professional designer, create your outdoor space and order materials, fixtures and decor - all in one place. Share your inspiration and feedback while at home or even on-the-go.

We don’t charge hourly fees. You’ll pay a one-time flat fee for your package to receive complete design services from our talented designers. We’ll ask you about your preferences, style, needs and budget - ensuring that we create the ultimate design that works just for you.

Once your design is complete, we set you up with a complete project plan that includes everything you need to approach your project construction and installation with confidence. You receive a project cost estimate that includes details on all materials as well as labor and installation. We connect you to three vetted local contractors that you may choose from, or you can go with your own.

Our team members are on call to assist you with ordering and contractor bidding and selection - ensuring that you access the best quality contractor services and exclusive discounts on your materials and decor.

You can contribute as much or as little feedback to your designer as you’d like - its up to you how involved you’d like to be in the design process.

Once you purchase a design package, you will receive access to our online platform to complete your design profile. This includes completing a survey about your preferences, needs and budget, providing us with photos and more details about your space. Once your design profile is complete the design process begins.

We ask that you give us 5 business days to provide you with our initial designs - which are rough layout variations to incorporate major features and fixtures. This will give you a sense of the potential of your space. Feedback at this stage is required as the layout you choose will form the basis for your full 3D design.

Once you and your designer have agreed on a layout to move forward with, your 3D designs will take 5 business days. You can provide feedback for modifications to materials, colors etc. and will then be sent your final 3D designs.

After that, it’s time to get started on your construction and installation to bring your vision to life!

Every project is unique and so there is no set starting budget that we will work with. However, being educated on the various costs of your landscape design project is an important early step towards a successful yard renovation.

Pricing out a project can be a complex process and it’s important that you are aware of the price ranges associated with the features, fixtures and finishes that you would like to incorporate into your project.

Your designer will work with your budget to create a plan that will incorporate your desired features while ensuring that your funds are invested in a responsible manor that will also contribute to your overall property value.

The Botanical Design Package - Starting at $495
This design package includes a custom planting design of your entire property. Our experienced and highly skilled horticulturists will create a beautiful planting design that works with your style preferences, lifestyle, maintenance level and location. The planting design includes selection of trees, plants, flowers, garden beds and ground covering.

In addition to your 3D renderings, we equip you to install your botanical design plan with confidence by giving you a detailed cost estimate and referral to three vetted local contractors. You’ll be able to shop your look with our Landscape Perfect concierge and save on your purchase of your plants and materials.

The Single Package - Starting at $995
This design package includes a custom 3D landscape design of a single yard on your property (either front or back). Based on your needs and preferences, our highly skilled and experienced landscape architects collaborate to establish the placement of all features and fixtures, hardscape, lighting and more. Our horticulturist will add a full planting plan.

In addition to your 3D renderings, we equip you to install your single yard design plan with confidence by giving you a detailed cost estimate and referral to three vetted local contractors. You’ll be able to shop your look with our Landscape Perfect concierge and save on your purchase of materials, fixtures, decor and plants.

The Full Package - Starting at $1395
This design package includes a custom 3D landscape design of two yards on your property (both your front and back). You get everything detailed in the single yard package - across both front and back yards.

Once you send us some photos and/or videos of your space and a few measurements, the fun begins and your designer gets started.

We’ve established a quick and easy design process that respects your time:

1. Tell us what you need - Answer some questions about your style and needs and provide us with some details about your property including some simple measurements and taking a few photos. You’ll share your ideas and inspiration so that we understand the look you’re going for. If you’re unsure about what style and features to go for, our designers will help you explore style options until you have arrived at something you love.

2. Collaborate online - Our designers will work with you to discuss your project and get any additional details that they need in order to create your design. They’ll provide you with several layout options before moving ahead with the creation of your 3D design.

3. Your plan - We equip you with everything that you need to install your design with confidence. You get a detailed cost estimate for construction and installation, a referral to three vetted local contractors and a shoppable materials list that enables you to purchase all of your fixtures, decor and materials through our concierge in one place.

4. Your installation - We’re all short on time these days. If you need additional support for the installation portion of your project, our Yardsie project managers can step in to take on as much or as little of the operational aspects of your project as desired. From vendor bidding and selection to permits and trades scheduling, our project managers are there for you.

Once your 3D design is finalized, you will receive a project plan that includes a few important pieces of cost information;

1. Construction and installation estimate
   Our designers are experienced in all aspects of landscape design and construction and will provide you with a detailed custom estimate of all of the necessary construction and installation costs for your project.
   
   We base our cost estimates on industry standard pricing, which will give you a deeper understanding of what to expect when you start reaching out to contractors to get bids on your project. We’re here for you to answer any questions that you may have about the construction and installation process and costs.

2. Shoppable materials, fixtures, decor list
   We’ll send you a shoppable list of all of the materials, fixtures and decor that is available through Yardsie. We’ve secured exclusive savings and wholesale prices on thousands of items. When you shop your design with Yardsie, our concierge team handles all of the delivery logistics, saving you both time and money!

When filling out your profile, you will be asked to share your minimum and maximum budget as well as information on your budget flexibility and the types of products that you like. This helps your designer understand your expectations and guides their approach to sourcing to deliver a look that works for you.

Once you have selected your package and completed the purchase, you will receive an email from us giving you access to our online design platform. Here, you will complete your profile by answering some questions and providing us with more details about your project needs, budget and preferences. Our designers are available to chat by phone, email or online and will guide you through the process of uncovering your ideal design plan.

Our designers will review all of the information that you submit through your profile which includes questions about style, likes and dislikes, lifestyle and needs. You’ll also have a chance to share inspirational photos/images that you may have collected, as well as expand on your overall vision.

We firmly believe that strong communications and feedback throughout the design process leads to success for our clients. To that end, you can schedule time to chat one-on-one with your designer to discuss your needs, style preferences and vision for your space.

If you’re not sure what styles will work well for your project, our designers will walk you through many of the most popular options until you land on something that’s just right.

The key to great design is communication. The more information you provide to our designers, the better they will understand your unique design needs. The first step in our process is for you to complete your design profile. This includes answering a questionnaire that will touch on many different areas of your project including; who will use the space, what isn’t working in the current space, what styles you tend to be drawn to and how much maintenance you are comfortable with.

We will ask you to upload photos of the yard, take a few measurements, send us your properties official survey drawings (if you have them), features you want to keep and those you would like to change. All of this together will help your designer fully visualize the space, and we’ll fill in the blanks using satellite imagery and google earth.

When working with Yardsie, you will receive designs in two stages; layout designs and 3D designs. You will receive several layout designs first, provide feedback and collaborate with your designer to narrow down a design direction and details for your yard.

Your designer will then take that feedback and create a 3D design of your final layout which shows you images of your exact yard from many different angles so that you can visualize what the design will look like in your exact space.

From here you may add feedback on minor modifications to things like colors, textures and materials and your designer will produce your final renderings.

Once you have received your final design, you may request minor modifications to things like the textures, material finishes and colors used in the design. Major modifications to layout, features and fixtures are not available at this stage as you will have already agreed on a direction with your designer in the layout phase.

You will have approximately two weeks to chat back and forth with your designer regarding any finishing touches or tweaks to your final design.

If you don’t like your design, please let us know about it. We believe that open communication and honest feedback is essential to reach a projects full design potential. We are happy to collaborate with you until you’re completely satisfied.

You will have the opportunity to communicate with our design team at the beginning of the project to express your specific needs and preferences. You’ll also have the chance to provide specific feedback after the layouts have been designed, and then once again for minor adjustments after your 3D designs have been produced.

Yes, in addition to the beautiful life-like 3D renderings we produce for you, we also include top-down 2D layout plans that include dimensions. Your design may include; hardscaping, a pergola or gazebo, patios/decking, an outdoor kitchen, outdoor lighting, furnishings, planters - and much more! Just let us know what you’d like to see, and our designers will incorporate it into your design.

Yes, we can incorporate your existing features, fixtures and furniture into your design. When you complete your design profile, we have a designated section for you to let us know what you would like to keep the same. This helps our designer create a design that takes your existing features into account, right from the beginning of the process. If you share photos of the specific features/furnishings, your designer will include a lifelike representation of those items in your 3D rendering, to show you exactly how the old and new will blend together.

Our design team is ready to support you through the landscape design process and can offer you as much time as needed. Once your design project is complete and you’re happy with the final product, our designers will be available for two weeks to resolve any outstanding questions and finalize all of the finishing touches.

At the very beginning of the design process, you have the option to schedule a consultation call with your designer to discuss your unique design profile and ensure that you understand what is possible within your budget and that you are aligned on a vision.

From there, your interaction with your designer will take place online through our design platform in your Yardsie account. You will receive an email notification when new messages from your designer are sent, and you can access them through our platform.

Yes, it can! Our designers have years of experience with landscape construction and project management, so our goal when designing your yard is to create a beautiful yet realistic plan that will set the stage for a successful installation. We equip you to install your project with confidence by giving you a 2D layout plan that details dimensions as well as a detailed list of the products featured in your designs. Our vetted contractors will work with you to ensure that they are able to deliver on your vision. There are typically a few modifications that pop up in every yard renovation, but never fear - our team is here to support you in the process and answer any questions you may have.
